We are very much pleased to invite you to attend the Second Regional SDG Summit – Beyond COVID—Towards Just Recovery in Central Asia.
about the summit
To move forward in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, bold action and innovative partnerships are needed at both the national and regional levels in the countries of Central Asia. This requires collaboration and communication across countries, sectors, and disciplines. All actors – public, private, national and international – have a role to play in ensuring that the necessary steps are taken to achieve sustainable development.
For this reason, the Government of Kazakhstan in partnership with UNDP and financial support from the European Union is convening sustainability leaders regionwide at the Regional SDG Summit – Beyond COVID—Towards Just Recovery in Central Asia – the second since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda.
Thematic sessions and round tables will provide communication platforms for discussing ideas and progress on regional projects towards the achievement of the SDGs in every participating country.
